Thanks to those that came along to the inaugural comp, from the smiles and the swimming - it seemed like everyone had a great day.
The results will be recorded as the A team beating "D"fence!! in the final.

Change to mixed hat style

Hi Ultimate players, the tournament has metamorphosed over the last week... due to numbers, we are going to play a mixed hat.
1 day - only Saturday and only $30
So if you are still interested (still lots of fun) sign up on AFDA.com before Friday midday
and be there at North Kirra at 9:30am for the hat draw on Saturday and watch the website for last minute updates.... ie plans for after dark

PS.... those needing a bed to sleep in... Steph has emailed this... please read it if you are interested. Sadly no billeting will be available

Local based teams - Challenge the SOUTH the bring it, what with all their experience at the towel and longest day!! Both Open and Women Divisions want challengers from south of the border, are you and your team going to bring that challenge.

More INFO

This is the tourneys inaugural year and is aimed at making use of the gorgeous Gold Coast beaches, giving you something to talk about after the Aussie Day long weekend and to help the ultimate community start to take Beach Ultimate (a little) more seriously.
How much: $100 team fee with registration and $40 player fee due Tuesday 20th of January (both to be payed by team captain)
Other details: Registration is now open so start organising who will be your team mates and what will be your team name.
We are going to take 10 teams in each division but if demand is there we may accept more teams.
We will reserve a BLOKES (open) and a SHEILAS (women) team for pick up players mainly aimed at international travelers that want an ultimate holiday on our beautiful beaches.
5 on 5 and games will be approx. 60 mins so we recommend at least 8-10 players and will not cap the team size this year.
Games will not start before 10am on Saturday to allow travel on Saturday morning and Monday 26th of January is yours free - to travel home, play pick up, go to a theme park or just relax.
If demands is there, we will looking to mass accommodation options like a renting a hall for all to sleep in, otherwise accommodation will be the team's responsibility

Good morning all,
Due to cheap interstate flights (not deer sale etc), locals wanting to know their possible competition and because we can, REGO for the ADBUC will be opening asap

We are accepting 10 teams for each division to start

and $40 player fee due 20th of January (paided altogether by team captain)
